YQ workshops at Conference and AGM, Portsmouth 2014
Young Quilters - An exciting full-day workshop on Saturday and a half-day workshop on Sunday are on offer for Young Quilters. The YQs' workshops will be held in The Green Room on the 3rd floor. Please note there is an age limit of 8+ years old and upwards.
Saturday 12 April 2014 10:00-15:00 - Young Quilters - 'Drawstring Bag' - In the morning we will make a row of beach huts and in the afternoon we will turn them into a drawstring bag for taking items to the beach.
Sunday 13 April 2014 9:30-12:00 - Young Quilters - 'Book Cover' - We will make a special book cover using a variety of fabrics, ribbons, buttons and beads as embellishment.
